I built X11R4 patch level 18. It doesnt work. For example, when I run
xterm, I get:

X Error of failed request:  BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
  Major opcode of failed request:  28 (X_GrabButton)
  Minor opcode of failed request:  0
  Resource id in failed request:  0xc
  Serial number of failed request:  47
  Current serial number in output stream:  53

What is this indicative of? (ie where is it coming from and why?)

I am also unable to get xdm to do anything but take my name and
password and have the password screen reappear. I believe this may be
a trivial problem. (Configuration files or something.)

Background:
I have a DS3100 color with ultrix 4.0.

Questions:

1) Are you aware of problems with the Color version.

2) If so, are there patches available?

3) Could you direct me to someone who would know about this problem?
