My documents have a very simplified SGML structure. I need to exercise very intimate control over character placement on a text canvas. I also need to be able to render X bitmaps on the text canvas. I have only used "cooked" Motif widgets and other gadgets. I'm not sure how to control pixel location on a canvas. Do I locate the underlying X window and use Xlib commands. Could someone point me in the right direction. Please reply by e-mail to liwen@calvin.sbc.com - thanks very much. //Andy Liwen -- Andrew B.
