Cain) I have just noticed that a program I wrote which calls cuserid(3) tells me that I am root when run under X-Windows. The man page doesn't give any caveats so I assume that X is somehow confusing it. Does someone who understands the connection here have a suggestion or is there some problem in my X implementation.
