One of the problems we had while developing Vocal-Eyes was what should be part of Vocal-Eyes and what should be part of the synthesizer. For example, the Sounding Board has a capitalization alert built into it. However, if you are using a different synthesizer you would not have this feature. We decided at the time not to duplicate the function in Vocal-Eyes since it was already in the Sounding Board. I believe at some point I will add this feature to Vocal-Eyes. But tell me, what would you want spoken on a word such as 'McDonalds', or a word in total captal letters?
