In an unfamiliar airport it's nice to be pushed exactly where you want to go! And depending on the porter pushing, it may be faster than *ANYONE* can walk! And considering the fact that so few of us travel, and the fact that airports also have golf carts for such uses, there are plenty of rides for people who want them!
