Problem 1: When we bring our (Pyramid) system down - gracefully - we
           tend to get a problem restarting nnmaster from /etc/rc.local
  
           The Error message "Incomplete MASTER file"
                             "Abnormal termination exit=7"
           appears in the log. This requires rebuilding the database.

Problem 2: (This happens with rn too).. When a user is close to or
          over their disc quota the newsreader hangs when trying to
          update their .newsrc or create a saved file. Is there some
          thing we should be trapping here from the quota mechanism?

 Any help on either of these would be VERY welcome :-)

PS I have looked through the NN list of known problems but can't see
anything obviously related
