I was at a Chinese restaurant the other night, and tried the appetizer special (yep, you guessed it, Sesame Beef). I'm usually willing to let chefs keep their recipes to themselves, I can *always* go back, but since this was a special I went ahead and asked for the recipe. I got it, but I wasn't given ratios. Here's what I have, any help would be appreciated: Sesame Beef Slice the beef very thinly, like you were going to be making jerky. (yes, that was a quote). Deep fry it three (3) times. Sauce: (fixed separately) lots of sugar, soy sauce, chicken stock, vinegar (this is where I REALLY need proportions) mix in a pan and heat until sugar melts. Stir in beef. Remove the beef onto a plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds. That's all I have. Any and all help appreciated. Any similar Recipes are welcomed as well. thanks. Tad Simmons, SIMMONS@UCF1VM.BITNET
