       Hi,

            Recently I have got a dead modem.  There are many reasons
        lead me to believe one of the chip had gone bad.  I tried as
        hard as I can but still I could not find out what chip this is.
        The markings on the chip are as following:

               P89027
               SZ224
               L9351021
               mc INTEL'86

        Could somebody tell me what is this and where I can get one?
