    Inference Corp. purchased Expertech, which sells the shells Xi Plus,
    and Egeria.  Why would a company like Inference which already sells its
    own shells want to buy some more shells to market?  What happens in terms
    of support and future product releases when a company is selling more than
    one shell that runs on a particular platform?
