I have decided to start an FTP site dedicated to benchmarks, their
results, and related materials.  This archive will include:
    - Source code for various benchmarks
    - Results of benchmarks 
    - Papers, articles, abstracts, et cetera, related to benchmarks
I need source code for as many different benchmarks as possible.  As
of this posting, I have the following benchmarks:
    - Whetstone
    - Dhrystone
    - BYTE suite
    - iostone
    - linpack
    - livermore loops
If you know of FTP/uucp sites for other benchmarks, please let me know.
Initially, I only plan to offer benchmarks for UNIX systems; in the
future, I will open the archive for other OSs as space becomes available.
The archive should be open for business in late December/early January.
