Engineering Design/Data Management position available at
CHIPS for a senior software engineer.


Project Description:

We are building systems to assure consistency of VLSI
engineering data as it evolves and goes thru different
design phases.  Data includes contents of our cell libraries
as well as data generated by engineering design teams.

The systems are being built using C,C++, and an object-
oriented data base management system on SUN SPARC platforms.


Candidate Background:

The person would have a MS (CS or EE) and 3 to 5 years of
experience in CAD design/data management. Skills would
include C or C++ application development on UNIX.
Familiarity with relational or object-oriented databases and
CAD tools is desirable.
