      I am considering writing a program to handle sending and receiving
data with modem in the background, just as the printer does, so that I
can use my PC for other purposes at the same time. I am not well-informed,
and there might already exist such a program (However, I looked through
the manual of KERMIT and could not find such things). Any information
about it, or any interest in my planned program is very welcome.
