Upton NY 11973. Lines: 21 Hi there, First, many thanks to those responded. Gnu-emacs is now workable on my machine. Second, I'd like to report some problems while compiling emacs. I ftp'ed the stardard gnu-emacs-18.55 from mit and apollo.emacs.tar.Z from stanford. The code fileio.c contains an extra "}" near the end (pointed out by zhou@linac.fnal.gov), and el-indent.clc is probably corrupted. I had to copy it from another source. Other than those two problems, everything else seems fine, though the compiler gave many warnings. Thanks again. -- -- dp
