Many new features have been added including conditional breakpoints and epoch support. To be a beta tester, you should be programming in elisp and be fairly familiar with the emacs environment (so you know when something is going wrong). edebug will be posted to gnu-emacs-sources after the beta testing, so if you can wait, you are better off waiting.
