Message-ID: <9707.273add1f@ul.ie> Date: 9 Nov 90 16:45:15 GMT Organization: University of Limerick, Ireland Lines: 29 Hello Netters, Presently I am working on a Neural Network problem and have come upon a problem for which I need somebody out there to help with. I have absolutely no clue about graphics and have never used this group before. PROBLEM : I scan a page using a scanner and it produces a file xxxxx.TIF but I need to be able to access the bitmap pixel by pixel. So as not to reinvent the wheel has anybody out there utilities that you could E-Mail or FTP to me that will produce a binary bitmap with no other information except the image itself. Turbo pascal/c/anything will do. i.e xxxxx.TIF file => BINARY BITMAP. Any suggestions greatly appreciated! James A.
