in the thread regarding the video capabilities of the new NeXT boxes,
people keep mentioning the ``JPEG standard'' compression. while i know
a few bits of information about this standard (e.g. what the JPEG
acronymn stands for), i lack hard data.

does anybody know where i can get a copy of the standard? (so i can
get some _real_ info instead of random flamage ...)
