Has anyone heard of soon to be introduced products using this chip set?
LSI Logic claims that all the chips are functional, except the motion
estimation chip, which should be out of fab about now.

H.261 is the standard that uses Discrete Cosine Transform and (optionally)
motion compensation and run length encoding to send full motion video
over digital communication channels.
