Lines: 20 My institutions is considering the acquisition of a PostScript imagesetter. My investigations have narrowed it down to a few, which I shall not mention yet, but I am interested to hear of anyone's joys or griefs on late models. Specifically, I am interested in: 1. Incompatibilities with any systems or applications 2. Processing speeds (is the Linotronic 330 RIP the fastest?) 3. Imaging method (banding problems) etc. Please mail directly to me and I'll summarise after a respectable interval.
