Has anyone done any research in the area of distributed Smalltalk?
I am interested in being able to do message communication between 
objects that exist in different Smalltalk images.  

I am using ST-80 in a networked Unix environment with the Gemstone OODB.

If anyone has information or can point me to some good references, I'd 
appreciate it.
