A couple of other highlights are: 1) it supports soundex, thereby matching smith/smythe etc.. 2) it supports images One of the interesting proposals (by NYU actually) is to include maps under the organization information (@o=) and under the organizational unit section (@ou=). This might allow a person visiting NYU to get a map of how to get to NYU through a map of Manhatten, and then to a specific department through a picture of what the building looks like.
