Pk., MD 20742 Lines: 16 I have obtained a Mac program called "MIDI Converter 0.31" which is supposed to translate TEXT files of midi-event specifications into standard Midi files and vice versa. Unfortunately, the standard Midi files that are generated are faulty in some way - Every program that tries to read them (except for MIDI Converter 0.31 itself) fails with an "end of file" error (error -39, I believe). MIDI Converter 0.31 is FreeWare by a fellow named David Zicarelli, and the version that I have is dated 1987. It was recently downloaded from America Online. My questions are: - Does anyone have a more recent version that they can send me or point me to? - Does anyone know how to contact David Zicarelli? - Does anyone know of an equivalent product that works correctly? (My setup: MacIIcx, sys 6.0.5, 8Meg RAM) Thanks greatly for any pointers! -Lee (spector@cs.umd.edu)
