Does POSIX.1 require that a shell interface exist. Suppsoedly the 1003.1
book has shell examples in the appendix....which brought up the question
about shell requirements. I do know that dot 2 is working the issue..
but don't know how that reflects on the dot 1 appendix....any thoughts?
