Could anyone give me answers to the following questions about MINIX:

1. Someone is offering to sell his copy of MINIX to me; will all the
features associated with buying my own copy (upgrade support etc.) come
with such a sale? What is the MINIX policy on transfer of rights?

2. How compatible is the IBM version of MINIX with DOS? Can DOS disks be
mounted as file systems by MINIX? 

3. Is it neccessary to have a 286 or 386 to run MINIX or can one manage
with a XT machine?
