Frequently the only thing you have to do is change the INIT load order or the mix, and the problem is solved. Oftentimes, the tech. support people for any *one* of the products won't know how their product affects others. Or they won't be aware how a subtle change in configuration can seriously affect other INITs/CDEVs, applications or even the Finder itself. That's why I always carry a copy of INIT Tracker or TattleTale around. Chris
