	I'm trying to write a paper comparing three network management
	protocols for a class.

There was a network management bibliography published in Computer
Communication Review (CCR) about a year I think.  It was done by Adarshpal
Sethi, of the University of Delaware.  I believe that most of the CCR
articles are FTP'able from "sh.relay.net"; you will have to look around.

You might also try "The Simple Book", by Marshall T. Rose.  It emphasize SNMP.
