As network-card we use the WD 8003 EB board. The UNIX-box is a Pyramid/Targon 35 running ATT System V 3.2 (TOS 3.3.07) Two main-problems occur with pc-nfs under MS-DOS 3.30: 1. MS-LINK 3.65 claims: "Can't find object file" "Can't create run file" whereas read and write access with 'copy' works correctly. 2. MS-WORD 5.0 (German version): "Fehler beim Schreiben in dem Laufwerk oder Verzeichnis gefunden" od in good English: "Error when writing to drive or to directory" The reason for those problems are NOT insufficient permissions. The reason seems to be an incompatibility of the PC-NFS-Driver with MS-DOS 3.30. Sun Microsystems (Germany) suggests to use MS-DOS 3.20. But this doesn't seem to be a solution for the future. We heard from the net, that it is possible to use PCNFS in combination with Windows 3.0. We would like to get information, experiences about this combination. Thank your very much in advance for your help and interest !
