He said Novell is very aware of the problem and is promising a product soon ( first quarter 91 ??) . So I am on his call back list when that product appears. We use a PC version of "telnet" to log into our Suns. I will soon try the following. (1) Install tcp/ip on the SCO Unix 486. (2) Try to use the same "telnet" I am using now from my PC to get to the 486. You didn't say which "SVR3 Unix" you were running, but this should work. I'm sure the Novell stuff will (evenutally) be transparent, convienent, etc., BUT if you just want to log in, try getting the "National Center for Super- Computing" 's version of PC telnet, or mail me and I will send it to you. ___________________ | |:::::::::| ::...... | 0 |::::O::::| :::::::::. | |:::::::::| Greg Presedo-Floyd ::. |---------|---------| Momenta Corporation :::.............. |:::::::/\| /\ | 295 North Bernardo Ave ................. |::::::/::\//\\ | Mountian View, CA 94043 ................... |:::::/:::|\ \\ | Voice: 415-969-3876-292 Fax: 415-969-3877 --------------------- uunet: {apple, leadsv, hpdtc,}!momenta!gregpf
