Ken, 

We are doing the same thing.  What I did is call the guy that sold us Netware.
He said Novell is very aware of the problem and is promising a product soon
( first quarter 91 ??) .  So I am on his call back list when that product 
appears.

We use a PC version of "telnet" to log into our Suns.  I will soon try
the following. (1) Install tcp/ip on the SCO Unix 486.  (2) Try to use
the same "telnet" I am using now from my PC to get to the 486.  You
didn't say which "SVR3 Unix" you were running, but this should work.

I'm sure the Novell stuff will (evenutally) be transparent, convienent, etc.,
BUT if you just want to log in, try getting the "National Center for Super-
Computing"  's version of PC telnet, or mail me and I will send it to you.
