I tracked down the article and am now confident NTP can provide accurate calendrics in five cultures, including ISO But, I can find no explanation why the Gregorian calendar stuffs two days relative to the Julian calendar. I thought I had it figured out by reason of silly Roman number system (the Maya had a much better one even before Caeser), but that turned out to be wrong. Meanwhile, I can say that Morley's calendrics in The Ancient Maya do verily agree with the (corrected) version 3 spec. Don't forget the leap coming up at the end of the year... Dave
