I uploaded a file called blitwarn.lzh to NASA (abcfd20) that explains the problem in detail. I never noticed an increase in blitter speed, so I felt it was better to err on the side of conservatism, and I deleted it. I realize that not everyone has Internet access, so I will UUEncode the file and send it out to anyone who wants it. Please use e-mail as I don't often read this newsgroup.
