I just received a copy of Hitchhiker's Guide. (And IIt was a
gift.  I wonder how long it has been on a store shelf :-)

The instructions state that it can be started from the CLI,
biut I keep getting an error message when I try to do this.
The game will start from WWorkBench, and running $the '$verify'
test produces a "good" response.

The release number is 58, (SN#851002), copyright date on the
disk is 1984.

Does Hitchhiker run from the CLI?  What is the trick?
