Keywords: C compiler Message-ID: <420@shrike.AUSTIN.LOCKHEED.COM> Date: 12 Nov 90 00:02:12 GMT Organization: Lockheed Austin Div. Lines: 28 I'm interested in purchasing a C compiler for my Amiga 3000 and am wondering which one I should buy, Lattice or Aztec. I'm sure that both of these packages are good, but what are the differences between them? Topics I'm interested in are: (order is not relevant) Compile time. Size of executable output. Optimization of executable. (i.e. speed vs size trade-offs) Debugging capabilities. Documentation. Features (specifically differences between the two). I realize that there are different options as far as what I can get, i.e. Aztec Professional Aztec Developer Lattice C Lattice C++ etc... What are the main differences between these packages? I realize this is a lot to ask for, so in the event that I don't get many responses could someone please tell me where I might find "comprehensive" reviews of each of these packages as well? Thanks!!! vervalin@austin.lockheed.com
