(MIDI = Musical Instruments Digital Interface 30 kHz...)

We are wondering whether any working MIDI configuration (board+driver)
exists for the Apollo DN3000 (Domain/OS kernel(8), SR 10.2.0.6, BSD4.3).
(Finally we would like to make some use of those PC-compatible slots :-)

If the ammount of work needed stays "within reason" we would not mind
investing some work into writing a driver on out own (yes, we got some
experience with this sort of things, although not on apollos...yet?)

Does a 3000 keep up with MIDI-demands at all? (we do not really  need any
fancy interactive real time sort of thing... basically, we would be
happy if we could just dump/store instrument definitions and short
tracks and such...)
