I know it is available on GEnie (where Apple released its system software), but apparently it has not made it to America On-line yet. No, I will NOT shrink and binscii the two disks!!! How would you like to send two 500K+ text files at 2400-bps to a remote ProLine site? Can you say "probable line noise"? Be patient, and it will certainly come to you. I imagine it will be a couple of weeks before the dealers get copies of 5.0.3, so check in with them from time to time. It has many improvements and bug fixes over System 5.0.2, including the annoying StandardFile glitch which caused the system to hang if the current prefix could not be found on any drive. It also auto-highlights the file name when you select "Save As..." now, so you can type in the name right away, instead of hitting Clear first. There is also interest in the sound sample to ASIF converter, so I'll post that on comp.binaries as soon as possible. If anyone doesn't have access to comp.bin, I'll e-mail you a copy. \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ | Brian T.
