It can transfer files between Apple //'s, Macs, and IBMs. It also has specialized translators that may be able to retain formatting information for wordprocessing documents and the like. Wait a minute, you do have a 3.5" drive don't you? Failing that, you could get a "null modem" cable, which is simply a cable without a modem that directly connects the two computers.
