Lines: 45 I have, as you may have guessed from the title, a Premium SoftCard //e. For those of you who don't know, it is a CP/M 80 board that fits into the aumiliary slot. Just for fun, I recently dredged up an adapted version of Modem7 for my //e and tried to use it. The main claim to fame that it offers is a useful batch receive/transfer function. The problem is that I have no way of converting CP/M text into usable ProDOS text. On a whim, I telephoned MicroSoft in Washington and they have a "Application Note for Special configurations ..." for the SoftCard. Unfortunately, they are not allowed to send stuff to Canada from the states. I telephoned Microsoft in Mississauga (it's near Toronto or part of Toronto almost) and they are trying to get the stuff for me from the states. The people I talked to clearly didn't understand what I was talking about so I am not holding my breath. FINALLY THE QUESTIONS!!!! 1. Doesn anybody out there have a program for converting CP/M text to ProDOS 8 text? 2. If anyone out there has a Premium SoftCard, what revision do you have? I have 2.26. 3. The Premium SoftCard is not capable of accessing a larger than 5 MB hard disk, because of some change in the disk controller. Does anyone have or know of, : 1) Software for partitioning a hard drive for CP/M 2) Software that might allow my SoftCard to access a 10 MB hard drive? Thanks verymuch in advance.
