Silly question time (maybe).

If the company responsible for PcDitto][ no longer exists, what happens to
the copyright, availability etc?

A friend of mine was wondering if the s/w inevitavbly becomes Public Domain
(PDditto?) but I tend to think that this is unlikely...!

Any thoughts, anyone?
