It's not. No RAM-loadable part of the OS has EVER been an official Atari product except the original RAM TOS back in 1985, and GDOS. Everything else is either hacked out of the ROMs and made into a PRG, or was an internal test release that should have stayed internal. In any case such programs are NOT official, are probably PRE-RELEASE, TEST versions, and they are likely to have BUGS. What good is a cool new desktop if it eats your files when you try to copy them one day? >Maybe someone's idea of a joke. We're not laughing. Earlier, Derek Mui from Atari posted a message saying, in part, "If you want to use this (potentially buggy) thing, that's fine with us." He misspoke. It is not fine with us. It is illegal, and in fact you are probably dealing with stolen property. He meant something more akin to "If you want to use it, it's your funeral," meaning Atari (and by extension Derek himself) wouldn't take responsibility for the results. ============================================ Opinions expressed above do not necessarily -- Allan Pratt, Atari Corp. reflect those of Atari Corp. or anyone else. ...ames!atari!apratt
