   Can anyone recommend a good book that discusses advanced C programming
on VAX/VMS?  Is there an equivalent book in the VMS world similar to
Marc Rochkind's "Advanced Unix Programming"?   A book describing the 
different VMS system calls with well explained examples would hit the 
spot.  This post is for my wife (she's not into Unix/Usenet)...the company
she works for has the standard DEC manual set but what I think she's asking
for are some supplemental programming texts written by VMS gurus.  I 
frequent B. Dalton's and WaldenBooks quite often and have never seen one.
