That's unusual Frank.  monitor is not supported.  It is on the support tape.
(Isn't it interesting that the support tape is unsupported? :-) Maybe someone 
at your site installed it from the support tape?  If it's really on your 
distribution tape, maybe HP sent you an internal distribution tape by mistake.
