Message-ID: Date: 13 Nov 90 02:26:59 GMT Organization: KK4FS - Free Speech Forum, +1 615 283 0864 for BBS Lines: 14 I recently bought a used computer that had a CDC 30Meg hard drive. I want to add it to my PC and cannot get it to access the drive. I have no manual and would like to know if it is a bad drive or how I am setting it up. It has a 16 pin dip in a socket in back. Do I need to remove this (I think it is a resistor pack)? It also has a jumper in position 1. There are five places for the jumper. What position should it be? Thanks to anyone that can help. sixhub!kk4fs!root ---------------------------------------------- KK4FS - Free Speech Forum, 1(615)283-0864 24hour BBS at 300/1200/2400 buad.
