I used one in 1984 to attach a Fujitsu Eagle to an AT as drives D: through O:, since DOS 2.x only could handle 32MB per partition. The bad news is that it's very expensive, over $1000. Considering that you can get a 600MB SCSI or ESDI drive for $2000 these days, you might be better off selling your SMD disk to someone who really wants SMD and buying a new disk that attaches to a normal cheap interface.
