The PC Magazine printer issue and the current issue of Byte have reviews of the printer. I saw one in my local Costco store yesterday for $300 dollars. For something the size of a notebook and weighing 4 lbs the print quality is quite impressive. I've got some output from it in front of me and the print is pretty close to laser quality. I can't really tell see any dots except on letters with strong diagonal lines, like W. I suspect it would look even better on injet paper. It doesn't really strike me as durable enough as a primary printer, but it looks to me like a great road printer. -- Joel Upchurch/Upchurch Computer Consulting/718 Galsworthy/Orlando, FL 32809 joel@peora.ccur.com {uiucuxc,hoptoad,petsd,ucf-cs}!peora!joel (407) 859-0982
