Hi,

you can find a copy of gnutar in lots of FTP sites. As usual with GNU
it's the best and cheapest solution. Most FTP addresses have a pub/gnu
directory. If you have trouble finding one (?), you can always ftp to
GNU's home machine <prep.ai.mit.edu>.
