Subject: Vertical Headings for MS Word Tables

I use the table facility of MS WORD to construct tables like the one below.
I would like to be able to run the title in the first column vertically 
(i.e., rotated 90 degrees).  I've tried pasting a graphic of rotated text
                             from CricketDraw into one of the cells.
........................    This appears to work when viewed in print
:       :    Columns    :    preview mode but when printed the graphic 
:........................    is clipped by the cell it is in so that only
:       :   : A : B : C :    part of it appears.
