Being the brave soul I am, I sent an AppleLink message to Randy Battat, 
who's the VP at Apple in charge of this.  He had someone reply to me, and
the reply was to the effect that "gee, we didn't know there was anyone
who wanted it; we're a bit busy now, but we WILL look into it and let
everybody know."

I'm not going to quote the entire link message (bandwidth), but be assured
that Apple is aware of our wants and has promised to at least research it.
