I was at a show recently where the people (Third Wave, I think) who make the expansion chassis were demoing their hardware. The suggested retail for their 4 slot boxes, both for the SE/30 and for NuBus machines was around $1100. I haven't seen them in mail order that I can remember. The 8 slot versions went for around $2000.
