I believe it is the sound chip itself, rather than an analogue or connection problem. I have fixed some video problems by resoldering some connections on the analogue board, but I can't bring back the sound. The companies that supply Mac parts and do component level repair do not sell the sound chip. Do you know where I can get one? Does someone have a "dead" logic board that I can buy?
