It's an SE/30. What you need to do is increase the memory partition of the finder. Go into the system folder and do "Get Info" on the Finder file. Change the default size (160K, if memory serves) to something like 200 to 300K (depending on how much memory you can spare, and how big a desktop file you need to work with, etc).
