I'm trying to use the Crashsaver INIT on a cx w/ 6.0.4.
to send me back to the Finder when I hit the reset switch.

It works fine except that if I try to send something to
the modem port, the machine freezes. 

Any idea why?  Suggestions for replacements for Crashsaver?
