Message-ID: <1990Nov12.202148.6894@cs.utk.edu> Date: 12 Nov 90 20:21:48 GMT Sender: news@cs.utk.edu (USENET News System) Organization: University of Tennessee/Oak Ridge National Laboratory Lines: 21 I rencently switched to System 6.0.7 and installed DeskTop Manager 2.0.1. On several occasion I had my system lock up (or go into an endless loop) when trying to empty the trash. When I press the Interrupt button and use SM 0 A9F4 and G 0 to get out of this, the Finder is gone. (I have a IIci and am running MultiFinder). Today I had a couple of files on which this happened repetedly, until I finally used DiskTop to delete them. DiskTop didn't seem to have any problem with them. Is it possible that this has something to do with DiskTop Manager? I am running dozens of INITs and CDEVs, but I have not run into a similar problem ever before upgrading to 6.0.7 and starting to use DiskTop Manager. ************************************************************** Wolfgang N.
